Teacher Volunteers

Since 1983, the Connecticut Invention Convention has grown in depth, stature and influence, thanks to the tireless devotion of our teacher volunteers. With only a small full time staff devoted to fundraising, outreach, and program and teacher support, the CIC achieves its goals with a lot of very dedicated volunteers.

If you have enjoyed the impact the CIC is having on your school and you want to help sustain this organization, please consider volunteering!  We have a need for year-round volunteer help, but especially need you to help us prepare to receive hundreds of young inventors and their families for the Regional Events around the state and the Annual CIC Invention Convention.

If you are accompanying your student to any CIC event this year, please consider helping to coordinate the inventors, where your special status as a teacher is needed most. To register your interest, please sign up here as a "certified teacher volunteer." Thank you!
